The Association of Rochester Police and Area Law Enforcement Retirees (ARPALER) realize that throughout the years political leaders have not always responded to our requests for a quality of life retirement. Therefore, after having served our community faithfully and conscientiously during our law enforcement careers, we have brought into existence an umbrella association that embraces all law enforcement personnel who are dedicated to achieving enhancements and benefits to our pensions and rights as retirees. To this end we pledge our energies and ourselves to creating and fostering those conditions that will bring our cause to fulfillment.
ARPALER IS A 501c3 Charitable Organization. In addition to our annual charitable donations and bereavement benefits to our members, we also pledge to support the significant other our members leave behind and to assist the law enforcement effort, within our community, that fosters a safe and healthy living environment for all our citizens.
Finally, we support our current members as a social organization, providing monthly lunch meetings, social events and group trips.
